Keeping with the space & time and transition theme, I stuck to sunset as a time to install Discourse. This time, the space chosen was Gharreqin Gate, the back entrance to the ancient city of Mdina. A portal, a transition location in itself.
The idea was to contrast the site in Qbajjar with another, totally different historical site. A site not as pretty, not as vast and where the setting sun can be felt but not seen.

The gate was excavated in the Mdina city bastions (fortifications) in Victorian Malta, in 1890 to have an access to the valley in which the former (now disused) train station of Malta was located.
